Understanding Aligners

Clear Aligners, often referred to as Invisible Braces, are customized, transparent trays made from biocompatible polyurethane resin. These trays are designed to straighten your teeth, offering a discreet, comfortable, and convenient alternative to traditional wired braces.

Aligners are not only aesthetically pleasing but also use gentle and continuous pressure to move your teeth into their ideal positions, eliminating the discomfort and inconvenience associated with metal braces.

Age Doesn’t Define Suitability

Aligners are suitable for individuals between the ages of 12 to 55, making them an excellent choice for a wide age range. Age is no longer a barrier to achieving your desired smile.

How Aligners Work

Aligners are tailored to straighten teeth by gently shifting teeth into place. Treatment can last between four to eighteen months, depending on case complexity.

Got Questions? We've got answers

What are Aligners?

Aligners are Orthodontic devices that are a transparent, plastic form of dental braces used to adjust teeth to make your smile more beautiful!

How are Aligners different from Braces?

Braces are made of metal or porcelain and are attached to your teeth. Metal wires and rubber bands are then used to provide a force to help the teeth move into the correct position. Aligners are made of plastic and are custom made to fit your teeth. Each aligner moves the teeth step by step towards the final position to give you the desired smile!

How do Aligners work?

Aligners, such as Whistle, are made of thin plastic shells designed to nudge your teeth into position gradually. Compared to traditional metal braces, invisible aligners are transparent, discrete, and less irritating. Patients experience great results in as little six weeks, while also having the liberty to remove the aligners at a moment's notice. When used under Orthodontist's supervision, Aligners can transform your teeth into a new, more beautiful smile !

Can any dentist do irregular teeth treatment?

An Orthodontist is a dental specialist who prevents, diagnoses and treats facial irregularities. Orthodontic treatments aim to improve the way the teeth and jaws function, as well as the person's smile or appearance. They straighten crooked or misaligned teeth, fix bad bites and make sure jaws are correctly aligned. For best results from your Invisible Aligners' one must consult with an Orthodontist

Are there any restrictions on eating and drinking?

No restrictions as such. The "snapon/snapoff" feature makes Aligners comfortable and easy to use in all social situations.

How long does the treatment take?

Typically, it may take 6-12 months for correcting the 'social six (front teeth). For more complex cases such as crowded teeth, the treatment time could be 12-24 months or slightly longer. The best person to give advice on this is your Orthodontist.
